Dr. Edmonds serves as the medical director and the managing partner at Texas Ear, Nose & Throat Consultants, PLLC.  He joined Children's ENT of Houston in October 2000.  He completed his medical education and his otolaryngology residency training at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, and completed a two-year pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at Children’s Hospital of San Diego in California.

Dr. Edmonds is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and is a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Surgeons.  He serves as a clinical assistant professor on the faculty of several institutions: at Baylor College of Medicine; at the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, The University of Texas – Houston; and at The Weill Medical College of Cornell University.  He is involved in several ongoing research projects, including non-surgical treatment of vascular malformations in infants and children, upper respiratory tract infections and hearing loss.

Joe takes an active interest in community health issues and supports a medical mission program for physicians in Nepal.  He also volunteers as a coach and manager for West University Little league.  Joe is married to Staci and they live in the Houston, TX area with their four children.
